When it comes to the Chevrolet Corvette, Mark Carlyle has been known to have his act together. His gorgeous Atomic Orange C6 Z06 is one of the fastest cars in the world to ever retain the independent rear suspension.
This time, we catch up with the car at Maryland International Raceway for Import vs Domestic as the car makes a couple of impressive passes down the quarter mile.
While they did have a couple of issues including a drivetrain malfunction in the last race and an epic looking half track wheelie early on, the car did manage to muster up 220mph of trap speed and dip into the 6s when everything was spot on!
Check out the Atomic Fusion Corvette as it obliterates the quarter mile in the video below. This thing is one impressive means of getting down in a straight line.
