Chopped ’59 VW Beetle Rat Rod So Sexy You Sure Can’t Resist

Maintaining the balance and proportion can be difficult especially when you chop a classic that’s already cool and beautiful from the factory. But here’s one awesome build that turned out sexy and smooth even after a major chop. It’s a 1959 Volkswagen Beetle chopped, sectioned and modded in all the right places to become one irresistible rat rod.

This rat rod wears a striking color scheme in satin black with the red trim. It’s slammed to the ground and boy the size and choice of color-matching wheels is a major contributor to making it look sexy. It’s got headlights off of a ’35 Ford and the revealing engine setup at the rear add an additional cool. Around 7 inch chopped and 4 inch sectioned and still looking badass and smooth.

The inside of this bug is all business. Black and red paint scheme for the dashboard matches the outside and the titanium shifter is an eye-catcher as well.

A 1915CC motor powers this rat rod with 40 webbers and sidewinder exhaust system.

If you love rat rod builds and VW bugs alike, then this build is a treat for you. Check it out!
